If you want a family-friendly vacation, they have that as well. It should be on the top of everyone’s to-visit list.

Thrills

All Disney fans know that Orlando is the home of Disney World and Universal Studios. An entire week or more could be spent taking in all these two have to offer. This is a trip all by itself. Other thrills could be exploring the bayous. Would getting close and personal with some Alligators give you a rush? Gatorland is the place for you. They have over three thousand alligators and crocodiles with shows to help you learn all you can. If they aren’t enough for you, try out the zip line and get an aerial view of all the gators. Another experience you can’t get in many other places is an airboat tour. See the alligators in the wild by signing up for a tour with Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures.

History

If learning is what you are after, there is a lot of history and culture to discover. While there are many museums to experience, your first stop should be the Orange County Regional History Center. It is located in downtown Orlando. Even the building that houses it is historic. It was once the county courthouse. Now remodeled, it is three floors of exhibits showing all that has occurred in the area. Next, those looking for culture will want to check to see what performance the Orlando Ballet is putting on. They put on performances all year long, and you do not wish to miss one of their masterpieces when you are in town.

Night Life

When looking for what to do after the sun goes down, check out The Pointe, your one-stop shop. This is where you will find a wide selection of restaurants and bars. This is also the home to nightclubs for those on an adult-only vacation. Wanting a more relaxing night, this is also the home to a large movie theater. You will be able to find a good movie to end your evening. Finally, those looking for a good laugh should look for the comedy clubs.

Family Fun

The first stop for most families will be one of the many amusement parks. After you have exhausted yourself there for a few days, spend a day at ICON Park. Here you will find something for everyone. A few rides like the Wheel let you see Orlando from four hundred feet in the air. Shopping and lots of delicious food will help you finish out your stay.
