It can also be an escape from the real world. If your form of self-care involves transporting yourself to another world, books are the perfect solution. 

Take a Walk

Take a break from the stresses of your life and take a walk. There are so many benefits like fresh air, Vitamin D, and the endorphins you get from exercising. Your mind and your body will be most appreciative. 

Turn Off your Phone

If you’re feel like your phone is overtaking your life, give yourself permission to turn it off for a while. Disconnecting from the virtual world can be really freeing. There are a large number of people on this planet who aren’t drinking enough water each day. This has many negative effects on your body and overall wellbeing like increasing fatigue and headaches. If you’re looking for something small you can do each day to show yourself some love, this is an easy thing to do. 

Declutter your Home

Cleaning can help relax your mind. If you find that your brain is constantly running a million miles an hour, help calm it down by decluttering your space. Although it might not be the most fun, cleaning has been proven to decrease stress levels.
