Appetizers can be a fun way to try new recipes. However, when being asked to bring one to a social gathering, you want to make sure to make one that’ll be a hit with the crowd. If you’re in need of a few recipes to keep in your back pocket, here are a few that will not disappoint.
Spicy Italian Meatball
This recipe comes to us from none other than the Pioneer Woman. Although this recipe may seem like it has a lot of steps and ingredients, we’ve never been led astray by one of Ree Drummond’s recipes before. The good news is that you’re simply combining a majority of the ingredients and mashing them together to create meatballs from the mixture. This recipe also gives clear instructions for making the spicy sauce as well as how to cook everything properly. Don’t forget the toothpicks so your friends and family can easily enjoy this delicious appetizer! You can find the recipe here.
Tortellini Skewers
The following appetizer could not be easier. Ree Drummond does it again by providing us with another delicious recipe. These tortellini skewers involve packaged tortellini that you simply have to warm up, cubes of fresh mozzarella cheese and sliced cherry tomatoes. Drizzle some balsamic vinaigrette or pesto over them for an added kick of flavor. That’s as easy as it gets! Check out this recipe here.
Spinach Artichoke Dip
Put this appetizer at the top of your list of recipes to try. It is incredibly easy to put together and it’s delicious. All you’ll need are some chopped spinach and artichokes. To save yourself time, buy frozen chopped spinach and canned artichokes that you can easily cut up. Some garlic and a couple different cheeses later and you’re ready to pop this dish in the oven! Serve it with tortilla chips or pieces of toasted french bread. Better yet, eat it with sliced veggies! No matter how you serve it, you’re friends will be raving about it. It’s a crowd favorite they’ll be begging you to make again and again. You can find the recipe here.
Okie Caviar
For a recipe that tastes incredibly fresh but will take you a minimal amount of time, try making okie caviar. Despite its name, this recipe is similar to ‘cowboy caviar’ which is not caviar at all. It includes ingredients such as tomatoes, peppers, onion, beans, and corn to name a few. Canned items are extremely welcome in this dish which will save you quite a bit of time. Once you mix all eight of the ingredients together, you simply refrigerate it and it’s ready to serve. This dish is both vegan and gluten free! Serve it with tortilla or corn chips. You’ll find this recipe here.
You can’t go wrong with any of these recipes! Next time you’re asked to bring an appetizer to a party, get excited! You have four diverse and delicious options to choose from.
